Which chipset is going into these Celeron-based servers? I don't know of any chipset meant for Celeron that can support five Ethernet cards, six 9.1GB hard drives, and 1 GB of memory. That sounds like a job for 440GX, yet that's a chipset that doesn't support Celeron because of its 100 MHz bus. I guess Celeron will be used only in the low-end model, the C1200R (as opposed to the C1500R or the C2000R). But even the low-end is starting at $9999. Why use Celeron for that price point, when a dual Pentium III system can work just as well for only $100's more and provides power to spare? That announcement by Compaq is very confusing.
