Unless ordered to do so (eg. criminal investigation) I think SI should give you notice that they have received a subpoena and then give you a certain number of days (15 for example) to file an appropriate objection, interpleader or temporary injunction. I think SI may have breached their contract with you by not telling you that they have received a subpoena requesting your identity IN ADVANCE of releasing it. And yes, you do have a contract with SI, afterall, you paid them money, right? When you pay money, as opposed to a free service like R.B. and Yahoo, the relationship is changed and there are certain implied duties owed by each party.
