I'm not sure the equation of power dissipation in term of radiation.
It seems to me it's proportional to the frequency and amplitude of
the waveform. 20 Watt / 300MHz radiation can microwave you
in 1,000 years.
Just a thought, to overcome such a bottleneck of microprocessor
design, Intel need to hire some engineers from microwave oven
companies.
For the time being, heat dissipation is a tough issue. We saw fan,
heat sink plate, then what? In the future my CPU need to change water
and coolant every 3000 Window NT cycles. Or network servers will be
built only in Alaska.
I bet there'll be another CPU Vcc reduction in the future. 5V, 3.3V,
2.5V, ......
