Where was the idiot online press last week? more useless press forcing shorts to cover, this time from iionline: Metricom Inc. (NASDAQ: MCOM - Quotes, News, Boards), IIOnline.com's Stock of the Day on June 23 when it was trading at $18 per share, continued its meteoric rise this morning, surging $7.31 to a year-high of $42.44. Ameri-First Securities initiated coverage of the company with a 'buy' rating, noting its strategic agreement with MCI WorldCom to distribute Metricom's Ricochet2 Wireless Data Network. ----------------- I'm putting a stop cover order in at $42.25 as more covering towards the close and new longs still hoping for an AM gap, may raise the price. If we're lucky, all this lunch time press has gotten many to cover already, and then we'll see a slow fade on the day. either way, I'm protecting my meager gains, so I can live to trade another day.
