Thanks Peter, I will probably try Interactive. Do you know of any reviews anywhere? I have traded with Lind-Waldock some time ago, in my opinion a reliable and well known broker for futures, but their software does not appear as amenable for daytrading. Trading the Mini S&P seems to have the advantage of brokers with good performance, but looks like a lot of patience will be required to find good trade opportunities on that instrument. Might be good learning experience for me, however. Thanks again for the reply Jake
