bruce, to be honest with you, i think it's a bunch of bunk. if there are enough buyers, the stock will go up... conversely, if there's enough sellers, the stock will go down. btw, most MMs don't carry much inventory anymore. most don't risk holding overnite, let alone for a week. they're trying to make a teenie here and an 1/8 there. to believe they can manipulate a stock that's traded 800k shares today just isn't realistic. not knocking you, just the "wide belief". it's just a handy way to pass the buck off to someone else when money is lost on a position. i may be the only person around who's tired of hearing "investors" bitch and moan when they lose money and then try to blame MMs for manipulating the stock price, for SURELY the "investor" couldn't have made the wrong decision...it HAD to be manipulation. ok... i'm finished...whew. next time i'll tell you how i really feel <G> greg
