Sony 7%--new subscribers will, for the most part, pick from what the cellular/PCS operatior have to sell. They are not knowledgaple like those on this board. And they won't spent $210 for a Startack when the rest sell at $95 to $120. So, if Sony and Q are on good terms, then, for the right SUM, I am sure Sony would facilitate Qualcom's getting a big chunk of this 7%--after all, the Sony and Q designs I have seen appear to be identical except for the name. Sony would want to salvage as much out of the US deal as possible since it appears that they are undertaking a broad economic retrenchment.
