To All, IBM leaves the DRAM business. Again! <g> techweb.com However, all the reports of Toshiba cutting production were so much noise. They are cutting back production of 64 Mbit chips and gearing up 128s. This scam goes around every time there is a chip upgrade. The higher tech firms move into the new area and claim they are shutting down capacity. Generally, megabits produced pick up by 25-50% during these shut downs.
