Conversation with the President:::::::::

Today I spoke with the President of ANI via phone and here is a summary of that call.

Sales for the year ending Dec 31/98 were $1.27-million and he is expecting sales to reach $1.6-million during 1999. They hope to sell 5-10 DT-500 Data Collection Systems this year at prices ranging from $85,000 to $350,000 per plant. There are approx 15 plants in Canada which could use their DT-500 systems compared to several thousand plants in the United States. Therefore, they are devoting most of their efforts towards the United States. They have managed to attract some long-term investors who feel that the company has excellent long-term potential and plan to stick around. They are also starting to attract interest from Bay Street and he said hopefully this will lead to some firm initiating coverage of the company. I asked him where the future growth of the company will come from. He said that short-term he expects the growth to come from sales of the DT-500 system but longer term he expects the growth to come from the DT-500 system and also from PetNet.

Today, the stock closed at another year high (99 cents). It has been slowly creeping upward and I expect us to break and close above the $1.00 mark shortly.
