t2K - Lord knows, I'm the last person who should try to dissuade others from daytrading, but if you must daytrade, please, please start out slooooooowly, trade with small share blocks, and try to learn as much as you can without losing your shirt in the process. It really takes quite awhile to get the hang of it, and in that time, you should try to avoid losing your capital base. Patience is the key. The market will be there the next day too - better walk one step at a time than jump in. Don't overtrade - the biggest temptation, and remember, it always takes much longer to get good at it, than you ever suspect; no matter how ready you feel you are, there is always more to learn, and the market will keep surprising you. Start slow. SLOW. Small shares. Patience.
Good luck!
