Thread: Any other thoughts out there re: the Acer deal. I am not all that familiar with Acer, but I don't know if I like the idea of Dell slapping their brand name on another manufacturer's product. Obviously, Dell wants (needs?) to get into the low-end business, but Dell's highly-regarded brand name could suffer if Acer's product is not up to Dell's standards. I bought a Dell computer because of the reliability of the product, and it was one of the reasons I bought the stock. OT to John I saw a report a while back re: Carey playing Kaufman. People who saw him said that it was scary how much Carey got into the role. He supposedly does a great job. Should be interesting...
