Don't be naive please... If you don't believe in conspiracies than you should not be trading in the market. Read the papers - the market is not forgiving to those who are ignorant of the historical facts. In this case, the HG story was just not credible. A real giveaway was the ridiculous attempt at saving himself with the 'a' or 'o' line. Along with the timing, that made the entire story suspect. Can we believe that companies like AOL and GE did not find any of this in their DD? This was nothing more than a flash in the pan for the shorts, and a shakeout of scared money. Thats ok with me - opportunity knocked.
