also i noticed that when the boe dropped the bomb on 5/7 that the open interest fell a lot.... where yesterday the open interest went up a lot when gold dropped.. comex volume was heavy today with gold little changed...it seems to me that if there was heavy accumulation on a day of "bad" news yesterday, then there should be a lot of acculation today with gold at about the same price.... when is the last time open interest was this high? samir
