As one of the old-timers on SI, who joined 1/96 when it was free, I actually don't remember what sort of personal info I was required to provide SI, when I signed up.

Do any other old-timers remember?

BTW, you are probably as much an old-timer as me if you have never been asked to pay anything to continue using SI.
