Yamakita- sorry, I was a bit too brief...my referance was towards the recovery of the Japanese economy (real, structural) and not the market.... Congrats on your success!

Perhaps you can elaborate...my readings give me the impression that consumer confidence is still in the dumps, the "smart money" expects unemployment to rise to 5.5%, growth to be flat for the year (fiscal 2000), and that last month great report was an anomoly, due to some seasonal factors and even some tweaking by the gvt. due to the impending election....

It appears that banks are still suffering under a mountain of debt (not writing it off fast enough) AND major corporation talk about restructuring, but have really done very little.....most attrition thru retirement and not real cuts...
