And WSTL never agressively pursued the ASIC angle which would have it cost competitive right off the bat. Instead they ditched those engrs and their mgr very early ( way long ago). Bright move by whomever, alas he is gone too. >> lunch if you are interested. I make it over to Naperville a few times a month on business. Would be great if I could meet you there ( some decent rest.), but I am not in that area now. Schaumburg is better.
