Dale--I brought up GUMM a while back.
It caught my eye as a good short and good enough I brought it up. I think Bill even said he had shorted it or considered it before that. In that regard I am not sure it is a good short. I hate these long drawn out shorts of six months or more with little movement. I am normally mostly long, shorts balance my portfolio and provide more interest as they are shorter term.
I had GERN short for over 7 months and finally closed out to go on vacation at the same price I could have gotten a week later (made a fat profit though over 50%). Point is that GUMM may hang there on you. That is the main possible drawback I see.
All the Best
