Jim, Steel import quota news - from USAToday.com:

Commission imposes anti-dumping duties -

The International Trade Commission voted to impose duties on imports of stainless steel from Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, South Korea, Taiwan and Britain after finding that dumped product from those countries threatened U.S. producers.

The commission decision means anti-dumping duties of as much as 59% will go into effect on imports of stainless steel sheet and strip in coils, the stainless steel industry's largest product line which is
used to make appliances, the Specialty Steel Industry of North America trade group said. Brazil agreed to reduce shipments of a core steel product by nearly a third to avoid punitive tariffs, U.S. officials said.
