Marlon, the writer of the WSJ article is 'so up to date' with these technologies that when he wrote his 1st article he probably didn't even know about xDSL. He later claimed he had left it out thinking 1997 was too further into the future. Here are his exact words in response to my letter of objection. If any of you want to write to him his email address was (I noticed they removed it from the article this time around): "David A. Harvey" <dharvey@interramp.com> Thank you for your letter. I didn't cover xDSL because it seemed, to me, to be much further out than either cable or ISDN. I've received a lot of mail enthusing about xDSL and I've done some further research; all of this has led me to conclude that I should have covered xDSL in the bandwidth column. I plan to rectify this omission as soon as possible. Thanks for reading, David ********* It takes a lot more than David Harvey to influence my views on Amati!!! He is no TechnoGOD!
