Oh is that why Mark Haines was questioning his (Al Goldman) wisdom: "Let's talk about Dell, as you know it's now a commodities business and their last earnings disappointed. Why would anyone want to buy Dell or Compaq?" said Mark.

At the same time (well just after) when Mark went to Maria.B on the exchange floor she started in for the second time about AAPL being upgraded by Robertson-Stevens to a price target of $75 a share.

WHY IS CNBC PUSHING AAPL AND BASHING DELL???

Obviouly AAPL/Robertson-Stevens have paid a much higher payolla to NBC the parent? IMO.
