OT - NATO commander's car stolen

<< The wife of NATO's top commander in Europe borrowed her husband's official bulletproof Mercedes and parked it at a golf course, where it ended up being stolen, the alliance confirmed Thursday.

The Belgian newspapers Le Soir and La Libre Belgique said unidentified thieves stole Gen. Wesley Clark's black Mercedes 600 Tuesday while his wife, Gertrude, was playing golf near Casteau, in southern Belgium, where NATO's military headquarters is located.

24 hours ... That should have been long enough to thoroughly analyse the communications in it ... The American military never ceases to amaze me, like the way they still line up all their aircraft or armor in a neat row ... You would have thought that they would have learned that lesson at Pearl Harbor, but I guess not.

Sorry, if Comet Lee was solid gold, it still wouldn't depress the gold market more than a few bucks ... As hunchback pointed out on another thread, the Bank of England already had a go a wacking the market with a 25 tonne asteroid.

BTW, If the comet lands in the Atlantic, as some predict, the 2000 - 3000 foot high wave will take care of the rest of your hay.
