I will attempt to give a rundown on my "sources".

I use quote.com for corporate and market related news (Reuters Business, PR Newswire, Businesswire, Newsbytes, and many other news sources), insider stats (Vickers) , and earnings estimates and analyst ratings (Zacks and First Call). I use InvestTools for access to a normally "for cost" MarketGuide fundamental report which covers short stats, insider and institution stats, among other things. I have also found PC Financial Network to be worthwhile. It gives me a better structured access to market news than the Quotes.com site, and it gives me access to Marketscope@Home. DBC Online is good for market information too. Also, DBC Online gives free access to Hoover's company capsules.

I use primarily two sites for stock reports: the S&P site for their extended stock report, and MarketGuide for their very detailed fundamental report on companies called ProVestor. For annual reports, quarterly reports, stock registrations, insider transaction and substantial ownership registrations, proxies, and prospectuses, I go to the Edgar Online site. I also use the InfoTrac Business Database found in many libraries for the full version of analyst reports along with searching many periodicals for information. Some of the idustry and corporate reports done by particular analysts are very comprehensive and wel done. I also use the Barron's Dossier's on companies which can be a very handy snapshot of a company.

I also refer to the Investor's World newsletter for excellent U.S. and worldwide economic and market information. The newsletter Positive Patterns is fairly goodfor market information too. I find the corporate profiles done by the newletters Positive Patterns and the Individual Investor's Special Situation Report to be well done. And then there is the technician John Murphy's market commentaries which are available for free. At his website, you can submit questions to him which he will answer.

For quotes, I go to Lombard and Quotes.com. I also use DBC Online for backup. I have several sources for information from professional journals. I can list them if you want. I will put together a list of URLs for the places that I have mentioned over the weekend.

And of course there is SI.
