Are women to blame, at least in part, for male violence?

A recent study reported in Time Magazine (July 12, pg. 82) says that "prepubescent boys whose moms smoked are four times as likely to steal, set fires, lie or exhibit other aggressive behavior....One theory is that nicotine may affect the developing brain."

Should the States sue mothers who smoke during pregnancy for the costs of dealing with these anti-social behavior of their sons? (What aggressive tort attorneys are ready to follow this natural sequence to the suits against the tobacco companies themselves?)

What else did our mothers do to us poor men to cause us to be more violent than our natures would, with proper maternal care, have made us??
