I enjoyed your insightful comments, which as you said are from the perspective of a passionate eBay user rather than an investor.

I am an eBay user, although purely as an investor I have never been long and periodically short the stock. I agree that eBay would be a kinder, more friendly place to conduct business if it was a person to person medium. However, most of the big dollar business conducted on eBay is by businesses that do view eBay as theirs. And they are right in the sense that this company has no remote prayer of ever being worth its current market capitalization without them and millions more like them.
