How is it scalable (assume you mean in speed), by way of faster data I/O down the road, more data I/O signals, other? Tony, Rambus communicates with memory via a Rambus Channel. Speed can be increased by an increasing the channel clock rate. Bandwidth can be increased by adding additional channels. And you could increase both the clock rate and the number of channels. I would suggest reading some of the documents that Rambus has available on their site. They are very informative. rambus.com The Rambus Technology Overview is quite good at explaining the technology.
