Competition: 3Com may be poorly managed, but they have a huge "quasi-open" developer following that is getting a large number of applications out there, which will apply to their wireless com device, the PVII. Regardless of the mgmt fumbles, PalmOS has a huge following. To penetrate markets that require heftier processing (compared to the BlackBerry), PalmOS (and Psion, for that matter) are forces to be reckoned with...not to mention Java, Jini, and the not-yet-ubiquitous but unrelentingly promoted CE. But I like the stock; still holding in expectation of large gains.
