You've got to be in front of a screen and watch it.For example today EK(kodak) tanked as low as 78.It was at 78 for no longer than 5 minutes both times and i frooze-i did not pull the trigger.I froze because of all the hectic volatility due to the upcoming greenspan effect.I had three chances in total to buy Kodak at 78;the last time it rose from 78 to 79 in about 15 minutes;i was going to buy 4000 shares-so i blew 4K.What i'm saying is you've got to get the stock close to it's low.look over my posts on various threads-there's not many-but you'll notice I ususally get the beaten up stock at close to it's low.what worried me about EK is that CNBC said that if EK is saying top line is flat then botom line may be flat too.About 2 minutes after maria bataromo said that the stock tanked from 79 1/4 to the mid 78's(The CNBC effect).anyways I finally bought 6000 shares of coms.earning up but no effect.I got screwed by the nasdaq(again) on the fill.Someone should start a post on nasdaq screwings.The ny stock exchange always gives you a better fill.Todays picks for dcb a were EK,GWRX.(Probably gwrx will do better).I think EK may annonce earnings warning-but like i say the more scary the news or the bigger the drop the better the dcb!Basically to answer your question you have to have nerves of steel,make your play-if your even 1/16 wrong take you loss-don't ever get emotional with the stock!Take your loss!
