Now who's being a tease?

The "dumb" ones?

The "bitchy" ones?

The "slutty" ones?

The "airhead" ones?

Because you don't "get" cable, you never watch "Daria." There was a Daria fest last night on MTV, and I watched it alone for a while. She's a very intelligent teenage girl who is trying to maintain her sanity and dignity while attending high school with a bunch of um, er, teenagers. Her mother has remarried a man who has a daughter the same age, who is a total airhead, self-centered, and wanna-be popular girl, and then there are the really popular girls, who have set themselves up as the Fashion Police, and decide who's in and who's out - also airheads. And so on and so forth. Ben wandered by and wanted to know what it was, and I told him, "you're about to start high school, you should watch this, and learn self-defense." He did, but I think he was taken aback - he is hoping that by going to a new high school, he will escape the mistreatment and abuse from his last school.

Typical line, Daria to her step-sister - "I've never noticed that about you." "What?" "When you turn in the light the right way, I really can see through your head."
