I'm not a regular reader, but I thought I might venture a comment with respect to the overseas sales and the Internet in general.

My first glance reaction to your optimism about China and the Internet is that China, though growing capitalist, has a paranoia about open society...ergo, isn't the Internet going to be a very closely held(and limited) commodity? Of course, in the long run, it will be a great market, but that could very easily be 10-20 years from now, when the government allows an open society that can access information freely.

Can Cascade live off of the meager growth that this thesis implies?

Of course I could be very wrong about the growth rates overseas, but I'm not sure that Intel's chips and Internet connectivity have the same growth dynamics, since the Internet is much more a social catalyst.

Just some off the cuff ideas...hope they have some validity.

Best luck to all...FRED
