Ken - actually, when it comes to electronic assemblers, the outsourcers are a highly competent bunch [I don't follow them, but seldom does one see any PR about their causing problems for outsourcees. They have the skills and they have the critical mass. The reason why Dr Grove picked Dr Barrett over Mr House is b/c Barrett is the operational guru. Therefore, at least for NT, by relinquishing much of the manufacturing works to the outsourcers is on balance a sound idea, IMHO. Of course, the caveat is that software glitches are beyond the control of any ERP. This is a wildcard common across all industries. Not just NT.

Just my 2c <g>

best, Bosco
