As I remember, it was fairly widely understood at the time that she could not be charged. Does anyone believe for a minute that she would have done what she did if she could have been?

And I also believe that the fact that the government could not charge her was just punishment (although far too little) for waging an undeclared, unconstitutional, illegal war. Unfortunately, as usual, the wrong people (such as yourself) had to pay the bill. The people responsible for this jackass adventure all got away with it.
