William,
Hi!!!

RE: RE:Al Goldman-I generally agree and like this man ,A.G> Edwards-but I thought he was weak today-pushing CPQ and just a hint of "OK" for our DELL.They just -do not get it-after all these years-CPQ IS DEAD IN OUR TIME AND BEYOND!!DELL now owns the space worldwide-get it AL.wbm-Please do not mention them in the same breath ever again.wbm

Rt. 9 here in upstate NY runs north south....IBM facilities are right off Rt. 9....not ten miles up the road is the CIA (Culinary Institute of America).....My neighbor is a professor there and informs me yesterday that CIA went all DELL...now mind you we are only talking 450 PC's and I forget how many servers...DELL winning the contract also gave all the employees an offer that will permit them to buy a 500 MHZ for a price that is making many of them realize they can't afford NOT to take this window of opportunity....
William....soon we'll be in Austin....I wonder how DELL would feel if the companies that surround them were buying IBMs??

I find it very very very difficult to find any sense of respect for the analysts that are hiding from the facts....DELL has eliminated the competition...the bleeding will continue .... the rest of the PC world is at the mercy of DELL...

I can't wait to tour Parmer...if you'll remember Steve Scott and I took a tour of some of the undeveloped areas the day after the shareholders...I shot a number of photos of the unfinished Parmer facility...Remembering the words of Michael forewarning the others that the new server facility will "EXPOSE THE SERVER RIP-OFFS" of the past..."50% LESS".....A new product with the data storage that will allow DELL to compete in 50% more of the enterprise bids...(Meta Group Study).....William....those that read what DELL was planning to do should have BOUGHT DELL....we all know it got ahead of itself...but, DID IT??? I bought a bunch of times just because of the paragraph above....I know where DELL is taking us...the others were in trouble....IMO DELL has made Michael's quote a reality.... "DELL WILL CHANGE THE WAY BUSINESS WILL BE DONE"....

:o)

Best, Kemble
