Nearly all of the trades come from one large block. This is probably
the excerise of warrants by Loewen, the underwritier of preious
financings. I can't angle why they want to do it now when there are
plenty of times left. The excerise price is near today's price.

The Financial Post reports in its Saturday, October 5, edition that Sonoma is in an
agreement to do a private placement of special warrants worth $4.4 million, with an
option to increase the issue to $5.5 million. The Post's Investing Briefs column says
each special warrant will be offered at $1.10 and will be exercisable for one unit. Each
unit consists of one common share and one-half of a share purchase warrant. One full
warrant will enable the holder to buy one common share at a price of $1.30 for two
years from closing. The money raised will be used to continue exploration on the
company's Cerro Toro and Castanbo Nuevo properties in Argentina.
