The company's newly established Unitec Energy Systems Inc., Regina, Sask., division has shipped its first SCADA system to monitor gas well production in Renaissance Energy's Slave Lake operations. While this is a relatively small system monitoring only nine producing gas wells, it has the ability to expand as required at a later date.
Unitec Energy is assuming responsibility for all oil and gas SCADA system design, integration and installation for the Unitec group of companies. It will distribute its products through the existing domestic and international distribution network of independent agents and representatives.
