There is an attorney on this thread, I'm new and not sure, maybe he would know about this. Yes on the vice versa, many men now choose to stay home with the children; they should get alimony in those circumstances. Yes, illness also should warrant alimony. Yes, also "rehabilitative alimony" for men or women is needed. Alimony should not be discounted, for in various situations alimony is much needed. Thank you for your opinion,
