Larry, I spoke with an institutional fund manager and a brokerage firm today who were both unaware of Valence being added to the Russel 2000. Both considered it a definite plus. I interpret this to mean that not all institutions knew about it. I was at a computer store looking at IBM laptops today. 3 hr life from a "smart lithium ion" battery for model 1462, 366 Mhz pentium II and less than 2 hours for the new mini(3 lb) thinkpad 240. Do you suppose IBM will continue to accept such short battery life or might they be interested in the 50% improvement over the Li-ion canisters Lev mentioned recently, when discussing the generation II versions with low cost manganese oxide cathodes now being run in NI?
