Hi H2SteveO; Nice link, that story references a PRST suit in 1997: Perhaps the only other company suit alleging defamatory Internet messages was filed by Presstek, a printing-equipment maker, in September 1997, he said. That complaint was settled in February 1998. news.com But it didn't say how that one turned out. I'm sure a lot of you remember... The stock was in the 40s back in September of 1997, when PRST sued: Message 2209457 Message 2209662 The company won the suit, apparently in January 1998, with the stock somewhat cheaper: Message 3138869 Message 3149152 The lawsuit's results were sealed, anybody know what they were? One poster had a pretty good guess: Message 3172737 The ticker tells the story of an over-hyped stock, even though they actually had some technology, and were not a complete scam: quote.yahoo.com Note above, that the company still issues absolutely massive numbers of pointless press releases, in my opinion... Does anybody remember exactly what the defendants in the suit posted? -- Carl
