Dave... Thanks...

I've still got some of my SEEK. Got some ITWO... which has had a nice run this year. (As they say, I am now contractually prohibited from making comments about that company.) And, thanks to Weby, I'm mighty content with my WAVX... despite an "attack" by Anthony@Pacific's gang... whatever that means.

Sort of just hanging out right now... looking for some new opportunities. Trying to catch some traditional business models--profitable companies--that are making the transition to the Web.
One such that I wish to heck I'd gotten was a WAVX partner, HAUP,
Hauppaugue Digital, makers of the WinTV tuner card: profitable company, low float, and, now, thanks to WAVX, a source of ongoing revenues and a hand in the e-commerce game. (Basically, they put the
WAVX chip in their tuner card and get a cut of bundled CD content purchases... etc.) Looks like another WAVX partner, SIGM, Sigma Designs, the leader in the MPEG-2 space, is going to have a similar course upward as soon as it announces a new Wave-enabled product. At least, that's the speculation.

It's interesting watching traditional companies play with the New World. Take Federated Department stores (FD). They bought out Fingerhut, the cataloger... after Fingerhut had made numerous investments in a variety of e-commerce ventures. I know one of Fingerhut's investments is going to go public in the fall.

Best Regards,

c m
