More Grist For the Mill,

Jeff - thanks for the update. There is little
substitute for first hand/eyewitness reports.

Peter.

Dow Jones Newswires -- July 6, 1999
DJ EFTC Corp To Sell Repair Svcs Ops To Jabil Circuit

DENVER (Dow Jones)--EFTC Corp. (EFTC) signed a letter of intent
to sell its repair/warranty service business to Jabil Circuit for
about $30 million, including contingent earn-out payments.

In a press release Tuesday, EFTC said it will continue to market
to its customers' hub based repair solutions.

EFTC decided to sell the business because the unit has a different
set of customers than its core operations, which the company plans
to develop. EFTC also expects the transaction to position the
company better with a high-mix manufacturing customer base.

The business operates repair/warranty facilities at overnight air
hubs in Memphis and Louisville. The unit, which employs 500 workers,
also has a bulk repair depot in Tampa.

Jabil Circuit makes electronic circuit board assemblies.

EFTC, an electronic manufacturing services company, has a work
force of about 2,500 people.
