Good news from closed door meeting;

Steve Jobs, the interim CEO of Apple (AAPL: news, msgs) who also holds down a full-time job at Pixar (PIXR: news, msgs), pleased the crowed with his closed-door presentation on Pixar technology. First, media, professional-sports and automobile entrepreneur Wayne Huizenga told CBS.MarketWatch.com he was very impressed with Jobs' demonstration, and then cable-industry titan John Malone added his applause. Malone said the demo suggested consumers preferred the highest possible quality when it came to downloading video images. "They'll pay for and take whatever the best that they can get is. And I think that's always been sort of the rule," he said.

This sounds to me like PIXAR might be unleashing new video technology to rival Quick Time. Am I just reading to much into this. I think this will be presented at the shareholders meeting at the end of the month. (IMO) Why else the wait?

It also sounds like people were VERY IMPRESSED with what Steve had to show.

(Views expressed are my alone.)

Anybody read into this at all?
