Our brains (in general) are wired for different things. Because women are wired for interpersonal excellence, to interpret and recognize the needs of others, women would excel at anything with an element of language or communication. Men are wired for spatial excellence- which translates to math- and math and music being twins- it would not surprise me that men would excel at music. Taking apart the human brain you can see these structural differences. I don't know why people would fight this. It makes more sense to me to evaluate your strengths and play to them- more chance of success.
