Re Kernan:
Yes, I know he is a chemist.
This is what annoys me. Today on the Genome Project he was getting chills over the stock. He gets excited over what he knows. He was saying what a great company/stock this is and falling all over the CEO.

But when it comes to AOL..or internets he was so negative. He didn't get it at all so he panned it and made no effort to understand.
He did a lot of damage. And he showed he had no objectivity.

And he really trashed retail (day) traders with stupid comments about
"Do these people know about limit orders?"

When someone pointed out that the Genome stock was so overvalued he was totally surprised..he did not even notice or do his homework and bring it into the conversation himself. He had the nerve to tell Insana to study his report so they could "talk" about it. He is very arrogant and overinflated.

But ask about an inrternet stock and he is always ready to say how it is overvalued and the tulips-thing and the bubble-thing.
We do not hear much about the tulips or the bubbles since NBC made their "PURE-INTERNET-PLAY" in Valuevision etc .

I think CNBC has a responsibility to giving the best (OBJECTIVE) information they can. Kernan is trained as a chemist but he plays a financial journalist on T.V. I am always suspicious of people who have a great education in one field and then wind up someplace else?
Why didn't he get a job as a chemist?
