re: "village of precisely 100 people"
At first read I thought this should have been prefaced by OT, but then I realized, this is the topic, and the reason to expect technology to continue to grow. There are those that would like to keep technology to themselves, but in the age of the Internet, it only takes a few who would like to share it. Compare the proprietary vs non-proprietary paradigms, see which usually wins. 99% of the population doesn't own a computer? Staggering concept-the market isn't nearly as saturated as one would be led to believe from many media sources. How many of the 100 would own a TV? I would propose that when we reach this number, it's time to sell. Until then, the market still grows...

As a technology aside, I often copy and paste items, mostly jokes, into my Pilot memo section. This is one of the few non-humor items that now resides in memory. I'll quote it often. Thanks, Brian.
