Pretty awesome, really. What they've done in effect, has been to create a new sticky medium.
I've ordered myTalk accounts for 1/2 dozen friends sans PCs. No doubt they'll be checking in frequently now to get "email" from their friends.
Now if GMagic can scale this thing, those (targeted) commercials
might go to the ears and wallets of a few million people a day. Once
they add the "more info" and "connect me" voice requests,,, well,
they've created a new medium that may have repercussions that extend beyond us
"traditional" Internet typists.
I sat on 3 9/16 (*for hours) to buy in, yesterday. Doesn't seem to be the most fast moving stock I've ever bought,,, but you've got to take your hat off to a company that reinvents itself. (On the money, I hope!) |
