Hi, Rhonda. . .long time no see. . .Yeah, this IPO market is not for me. . . I am only in today as an "insurance policy" against a sudden run for 100. . . that's it.
I am far more interested in buying LQID when it bottoms later this summer, using Kevin's patent pending IPO bottom-finder machine <g>.
Also, HLTH, ABTL or AWEB and some others.
Some of the IPOs of recent months. . .that are being ignored mostly. . . will become the high fliers of next winter. Those are the ones we, of course, want to stay in close contact with. . .
As for LQID, it is a very complicated company, that is cutting edge on more than one front. It takes some real time to get a grip on what it is that they really do.
Last year, I met the President or something or another of Liquid Audio at a seminar to record executives. . . nice guy. . .next day I get a Fed Ex with the latest version of their mastering software for encoding music for uploading to their website.
I have not even begun to study what they are doing with Liquid Video. . .but I'll bet that companies like Intel are invested because of the potential they see in the video arena.
Anyway, if this baby doesn't take off here soon, I may have to cut and come back another time.
