Lisa, what is scary is not that we have no army, navy, air force parts, star wars, or defense budget to protect us in a hostile world of russia, china, and assorted mini-threats. No, it is that the one true good in this world, America, is surrounded by enemies against which we are not even making a pretense of defending ourselves by arms.
Do you realize the Socialists have taken over 4 scandinavian countries and keep dissent so bottled up that no crying voice is heard. Our former allies in western europe have capitulated to governments run by Liberals. These nations are nuclear armed! The Germans are reunited, rearmed, and all but overthrown by Tree-Huggers. The swiss in the middle of that continent, and the icelanders right off our shore live in a state approaching Anarchy. Our very neighbor canada sinks its lifeblood into Socialized medicine. When these corrupt systems topple of their own stupidity and cupidity, is it not our hard-earned wealth they will eye to take?
The possible threat to our way of life from far away pales in comparison to how we have sold out our nation's defense against these known, nearby, proven-enemy ideologies.
