As had been widely expected, Levitz announced the outline of their reorganization plan and it will give the current common shareholders a big fat ZERO....but no surprise since creditors come first in Chapter 11. Many people attempt to appraise Chapter 11 companies utilizing normal fundamental and technical analyses...They don't work for Chapter 11s. Caldor, Bradlees, Discovery Zone, Edison Brothers, Marvel, now Golden Books and soon to be Boston Market and Levitz...All are virtual ZEROs.
