I'm not an expert on the TradeCast software, only knowing what I saw yesterday. But TradeCast is a software product like RealTick III, except instead of being sold by Townsend, it is sold by the company with the same name, TradeCast.
If I remember correctly, TradeCast has ~10% market share in the daytrading software market. Their software is more difficult to learn than Real Tick III, but is much more powerful.
For example, you can click and drag the mouse to highlight 6 market makers, for example, on the level II display. Then you can type in an order to buy 1000 shares from each of them and click one button to send out all of the orders. Also, you can program the keyboard to all one key to place an ISLD Fill-or-Kill order at the ask price + 1/2, for example. Then when the time comes, you can pound the heck out of this key to hit everything in sight on the ISLD.
That's about all I know about it. You might try to search for more information from TradeCast on the internet... I assume they have a website? Also, NetTrade has a website at nettrade.com and microtrading.com
Good luck, -Eric |
