Ian, RE: Still think that GS unloaded all 4M shares before upgrading Dell? Well, since Goldman hasn't upgraded DELL, I'd pretty much guarantee that now. Or do you still want us to believe that all upgrades / downgrades are based solely on the stocks fundamentals and the altruistic motivation of the analysts to freely share their research with anyone who'll listen? Most upgrades and downgrades are indeed solely based upon a stock's fundamentals, although not all of them are. I don't believe I ever said that. And I know I never said that analysts publish their research out of an alturistic motivation. They're out for themselves, just like everyone else on Wall St. It's just that it is in their best interest in most circumstances to actually give their honest opinion about a stock. Honest.
