The principle of Paracticality is the one principle we do not recognize as legitimate in politics/civics. Instead, we argue issues like 'the 10 commandmants', which elicits few differences in principle, on principle. The act of hanging the 10 is not abhorant, given some modifications [maybe hanging others] and safeguards [say, including teaching religion v. ethics in teacher college and administrator courses].

What is particularly strange is our nations greatest achievements are in the realm of practicality - military tactics and business. In fact, is any other principle involved in these 2?

I mention it because Practicality would as soon discard grey, but Principles exist only on fine scruiny of grey, never reaching b or w.
